RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A new report is shows 1/5 of Nevada highways are in poor condition.
The statistics were made public in a report presented to the Board of Transportation.
On the plus side, 22 percent of roads in the state are in excellent condition. The report also shows many roads in Reno and Las Vegas are also congested.
Transportation Assistant Director Bill Hoffman estimates it will take $1.9 billion to repair all the roads needing work.
