LAS VEGAS (AP) — MGM Resorts says it's now accepting reservations at Delano Las Vegas, the reinvented hotel formerly known as THEhotel at the Mandalay Bay.

Company officials announced Wednesday that visitors can reserve space online or by phone for stays beginning Sept. 1.

MGM and Morgans Hotel Group have been renovating the 1,100-suite property and modeling it after a Delano hotel in South Beach, Florida. The Delano brand is especially popular with customers in Latin America and Europe, which the company is eyeing for future growth.

Officials say the Delano Las Vegas will feature several public spaces designed to encourage mingling, including a coffee and tea bar off the main lobby and the Franklin lounge featuring nightly entertainment.
