SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the stabbing of a male victim in the area of the 300 block of D St. Sparks, NV that took place Jan. 13 around 7pm.

The victim, who is a 25-year-old Sparks resident, told officers that he was walking in the area of the 300 block of D St. when a small red passenger car pulled up near him. The occupants of the car asked the victim if he had any gang affiliation, and the victim denied any gang involvement. The victim then said he was attacked by the four people in the car, who were described as Hispanic. He was unable to provide any further description of the suspects.

The vehicle is only described as a small, red passenger car with some sort of after-market rims. The victim did receive non-life threatening injuries to one arm. The injuries appear to be consistent with a stabbing or slashing type of injury. REMSA and Sparks Fire personnel administered first-aid, and the victim declined to be taken to a hospital.

Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects. Anyone having information relating to this crime, the suspect vehicle, or the suspects should contact the Sparks Police Department at 353-2225, Secret Witness at 322-4900, www.secretwitness.com, or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword - SW.

It takes a special kind of jerk to accept a reward for giving information about something like this! If I had information, I would give it for free, because it's the right thing to do!
