RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Secret Witness is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with thefts of 1997 to 2005 Jeep Wrangler doors in southeast Reno.
During the month of January multiple thefts of Jeep doors have occurred in the Mira Loma and Double Diamond areas. At least 8 thefts have been reported in the Reno/Sparks area. The thieves are targeting both metal and soft doors and the thefts take place during the night time hours. The doors sell for thousands of dollars on certain web sites. This is a nationwide problem.
Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s). Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspect(s) should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2133, Secret Witness at 322-4900,
