San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Colorado Rockies right fielder Michael Cuddyer left Monday's game against San Diego with a right elbow injury.

In the fifth inning, Cuddyer was going back to track a long fly ball from Alexi Amarista and crashed into the wall. He banged his elbow on the ground on the fall.

The ball dropped for a triple and scored a run.

Cuddyer was tended to by trainers for several minutes before walking off the field. He was replaced by Brandon Barnes.

The team later announced that he has a right elbow contusion and is listed as day-to-day.

Cuddyer was 0-for-1 with two walks in the game, and is batting .347 on the season.
