Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies have agreed to terms with relief pitcher Wilton Lopez on a one-year contract for the upcoming 2014 season, the team announced Thursday.

Lopez pitched in a career-high 75 games last season, his first with the Rockies after spending the previous four campaigns with the Houston Astros. The arbitration-eligible righty produced a 4.06 earned run average along with a 3-4 record in 2013.

The Rockies acquired Lopez from Houston as part of a trade that sent pitcher Alex White to the Astros in December of 2012.

Over 288 career major league appearances, all but two of which have come in relief, Lopez has gone 16-17 with a 3.37 ERA and 11 saves. He saved 10 games while posting a 2.17 ERA over 64 outings with the Astros in 2012.
