Green Bay, WI ( - With the NFC North crown on the line Sunday in Chicago, the Green Bay Packers expect to have starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers back under center when they take on the Bears.

"We're preparing for the Chicago Bears with Aaron Rodgers as our starting quarterback," Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed at a press conference on Thursday.

Rodgers has not played since sustaining a fractured left collarbone on the opening drive of Green Bay's eventual 27-20 loss to Chicago on Nov. 4.

The Packers proceeded to go 0-3-1 over the next four weeks with their star signal-caller on the shelf, but rebounded with back-to-back wins before dropping a 38-31 decision at Pittsburgh in Week 16.

The former MVP had practiced on a limited basis in recent weeks, but took first-team reps on Thursday in preparation for Sunday's matchup.

Rodgers threw for 2,218 yards and 15 touchdowns with four interceptions over eight games prior to the injury.
