SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — A jury has decided a Silicon Valley engineer was sane when he murdered three former bosses in revenge for his termination.

The Santa Clara County jury's decision Friday means Jing Hua Wu will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The same jury earlier found him guilty of three counts of first-degree murder.

The 51-year-old gunned down three of his managers at the Santa Clara, Calif. startup Wu SiPort Inc. in November 2008 shortly after he was fired for displaying bizarre behavior.

The jury rejected the defense's contention that Wu was too mentally ill to form the intent to kill when he shot CEO Sid Agrawal, office manager Marilyn Lewis and supervisor Brian Pugh.
