AGUA DULCE, Calif. (AP) — A small plane has crashed in the Southern California desert, injuring the pilot and passenger.
Authorities say the plane struck power lines and went down at around 2 p.m. Friday in Agua Dulce, north of Los Angeles.
There's an airport in the area but there's no immediate word on whether the plane had taken off from or was landing there.
Televised news reports showed the single-engine plane nose-down against some trees and rescuers taking two people to an air ambulance. Los Angeles County fire Inspector Keith Mora says they'll be flown to a trauma center.
There's no immediate word on their conditions or the cause of the crash.
