LAS VEGAS (AP) — An airport official says a Southwest Airlines flight bound from Las Vegas to Tulsa, Okla., returned shortly after takeoff to McCarran International Airport after crew members reported concerns about the aircraft.
Airport spokeswoman Christine Crews says Flight 481 departed about 1:20 p.m. Thursday but circled back and was met by fire and safety crews about 2:45 p.m.
Crews says the Boeing 737 with 146 people aboard taxied safely to the gate, and no injuries were reported.
Southwest officials didn't immediately respond to messages.
The airline website says the flight was canceled.
Crews says passengers were being booked on other flights.
