INDIO, Calif. (AP) — Testing for tuberculosis will continue at a Southern California high school after one student was diagnosed with the illness last month.

Riverside County's Department of Public Health says a testing clinic Friday will be held for 1,800 people at Indio High School.

The department says more than 130 students were tested for the illness on Monday and 45 tested positive for possible exposure.

Health officials say follow-up X-rays showed five students needed further examination. Those students were sent home on Thursday.
