LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a 13-month-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition after falling from a third-story condominium window in Las Vegas.

Authorities say the incident happened about 6 p.m. Tuesday in the northwest part of the valley, near Durango Drive and Elkhorn Road.

Lt. Mark Reddon says the boy had been playing with his older brother near the open window when he fell. Officials say he was breathing, but bleeding from his head afterward.

Police say the fall appears to be an accident, but the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports they're questioning the boy's parents, who were both home at the time.
