Twins RHP Gibson scratched from start

Minneapolis, MN ( - Minnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson was scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday afternoon against Cleveland due to lower back stiffness.

Anthony Swarzak, who will take Gibson's place, will make his first start since Oct 2, 2012 at Toronto. The righty is 6-17 with a 5.79 ERA in 28 games in a starting role.

Swarzak has pitched in 30 games this season and is 1-0 with a 4.34 ERA.
