LAS VEGAS (AP) — UNLV says 20 football players have committed to the Rebels, including 13 high school and seven junior-college standouts.
Head coach Bobby Hauck says the group includes players from seven states, the island territory of American Samoa and a California junior-college transfer from Helsinki, Finland.
Hauck says they're a good blend of players for the Rebels, who've won just two games each of the last three seasons.
Freshmen D.J. Moffitt, from De La Salle High in Livermore, Calif.; Torry McTyer, from Cathedral High in Los Angeles; and Keith Whitely, from La Porte High in Houston, are among the top recruits.
Two freshman recruits are from Henderson. Wide receiver Devonte Boyd is from Basic High, and running back Niko Kapeli is from Liberty High.
UNLV plays in the Mountain West Conference.
