RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Since University of Nevada, Reno graduate Colin Kaepernick clinched the starting quarterback position for the San Francisco 49ers last fall, Wolf Pack fans are buying and wearing more red apparel. In support of the former Nevada Wolf Pack quarterback leading the 49ers against the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII this Sunday, as well as to raise awareness about women and heart disease, the campus community is encouraged to wear red on Friday, Feb. 1.
Cantina del Lobo on campus will be holding a Super Bowl viewing party:
WHAT: Super Bowl Viewing Party at Cantina del Lobo
WHEN: Doors open at 2:30 p.m., Super Bowl kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Cantina del Lobo, Joe Crowley Student Union, Third Floor
PARKING: Free parking in West Stadium Parking Complex, Brian J. Whalen Parking Complex and the metered spots south of Lawlor Events Center.

•This is an alcohol-free, family-friendly event.
•The Joe Crowley Student Union doors open at 10 a.m.; the Nevada Wolf Shop opens at noon.
•Students with student I.D. offered free, all-you-can-eat buffet (soft drinks included). New food items will be provided at the beginning of each quarter.
•Non-student or community members can pay $8.99 for the all-you-can-eat-buffet, and alumni members receive a 20 percent discount.
•Children younger than 12 years old can eat for $5.
•A poster-making section will be available to those who wish to decorate a poster for and during the game.
•Merchandise and prizes will be raffled throughout the game. Attendees will receive a raffle ticket when they arrive; no purchase necessary.
