KIEV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Monday called off a unilateral cease-fire in the conflict with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

A statement Monday said that rebels will be attacked and the country will be freed.

The cease-fire was meant to give rebels a chance to disarm.
