SAN DIEGO (AP) — Verdicts will be announced Thursday for three San Diego gang members accused of robbing and killing a college student who answered a Craigslist ad.

A San Diego jury will announce the verdict it reached Wednesday in the murder trial of Rashon Abernathy, Seandell Jones and Shaquille Jordan. They could face life sentences if convicted.

Authorities say the three lured 18-year-old Garrett Berki to the Paradise Hills last year with a Craigslist ad offering a laptop computer.

Prosecutors say they snatched $600 from Berki and fled in a stolen car that Berki later spotted and chased.

Authorities say Berki was shot when his car cornered the other vehicle in a cul-de-sac.
