LAS VEGAS (AP) — Two victims want jail time and sex offender status for an ex-Las Vegas police officer who took a plea deal to avoid trial on charges he groped and induced female motorists to disrobe after stopping them on duty.

Rebecca Portillo and Victoria Murnane tell the Las Vegas Review-Journal they'll seek the maximum punishment for 34-year-old John Kingsley Norman when Clark County District Court Judge Abbi Silver sentences him Oct. 30.

Murnane calls Kingsley "a predator with a badge."

Kingsley pleaded guilty June 25 to misdemeanor lewdness and oppression under the color of office. Prosecutors dropped felony charges.

Norman could get probation or up to two years in jail, but the lewdness charge could be reduced after that to allow him to be removed from a sex offender database.
