Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Vikings released linebacker Erin Henderson on Friday.

Henderson had a career year last season, racking up 112 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions in 14 games (12 starts), but the 27-year-old Maryland product was arrested for a pair of DWIs in a three-month span, with the latest offense coming in early January.

Henderson had been a mainstay on Minnesota's defense over the last three seasons, starting 33 of the 43 games he appeared in.

Over six seasons in Minnesota, Henderson recorded 288 tackles, 8 1/2 sacks and five forced fumbles in 64 career games.
