Reno, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)—The Washoe Drive Fire is now 100 percent contained at 3,177 acres as of 6 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2012.
All evacuations were lifted as of 8 a.m.
The Sierra Front Incident Management Team will be transitioning the Washoe Fire over to the Reno Fire Department at 3:00 p.m. today.
Firefighters will focus on mopping up around structures and continue to patrol the area today.
Drivers traveling on highway 395 are asked to use extra caution as crews and equipment are still actively working.
