UPDATE - 3:22PM - Dominic Gentile, Whittemore's Defense Attorney, says they will file for an appeal, according to our crew currently attending the news conference.
UPDATE - 2:44PM - Whittemore will be sentenced September 23, 2013 at 11am. Whittemore faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count.
UPDATE - 2:29PM - The jury still cannot come to a unanimous decision on the fourth count.
Judge Hicks says he will likely call a mistrial on this count, which is lying to the FBI.
UPDATE - 11:53AM - The court is in recess and the jury needs to try and determine a decision on the fourth count.
UPDATE - 11:48AM - Whittemore was found guilty on one count of making excessive campaign contributions, one count of making contributions in the name of another and one count of causing a false statement to Federal Election Commission.
The count that is unresolved is the count of lying to the FBI.
UPDATE- 11:42AM - Harvey Whittemore has been found guilty on three counts. One count is unresolved.
UPDATE-11:12AM- Judge Hicks is asking that everyone return to court in about 20 minutes to reveal the verdicts of the three resolved counts.
After that, Hicks will ask if the jury needs to go back to deliberation for the fourth unresolved count.
RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The jury has resolved three of the four felony counts in the Harvey Whittemore trial. They are currently deadlocked on one count, according to our crew in the courtroom.
Judge Hicks will be returning shortly with a decision.
Whittemore is accused of illegally funneling nearly $150,000 in campaign money to Sen. Harry Reid.
