Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Wizards star rookie Bradley Beal will miss his second straight contest due to an ankle injury, the team announced prior to Friday's matchup at Brooklyn.

Beal was injured in the fourth quarter of the team's win over Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday and missed Wednesday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 19-year-old is listed as day-to-day and has averages of 14.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 51 contests this season.

Overall, Washington is 2-6 this season without Beal and the team has dropped four straight road games.
