Police say two men robbed a 7-11 convenience store with a gun in Reno Sunday night.

At 8:10 a.m., the two suspects allegedly approached the only employee inside the store on 1680 Silverada Blvd., according to police.

One of the suspects pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the employee, police said.

The other suspect walked around the counter and allegedly took cash from the register, police said. Both men then ran from the area, police said. The employee was not injured during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 30s, about 6-feet tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket, gray sweatpants, white shoes, multi colored beanie, prescription glasses. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, police said.

The other suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s, about 6-feet tall, with a thin build, brown/gray mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, black/white shoes and a dark colored beanie with snowflakes.

Those with information regarding this crime are urged to contact the Reno Police Department Detective Division at 334-2115, or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
