School closures in N. Nevada on April 5

A weather system blowing cold morning temperatures and snow into northern Nevada has affected some schools Monday morning.

All Washoe County School District schools located in Incline Village at North Lake Tahoe will operate on a two-hour delay. All other schools in the district will operate on time.

In the Douglas County School District, only Whittell High School and Zephyr Cove Elementary School schedules are affected by the storm and are closed for the day.

In North Lake Tahoe, Sierra Nevada College is on a two hour delay. In South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Community College is on a two hour delay.

Also in South Lake Tahoe, all schools in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District are closed due to weather.

No other schools or districts have notified KRNV MyNews4.com of delays.
