Crowd gathers at N. Nevada vet cemetery

A Memorial Day ceremony was held at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, the only veterans cemetery in northern Nevada.
Folks gathered to pay their respects, and remember those who have lost their lives while serving their country.
"Memorial Day is, to me, one of our most sacred holidays," said Jeff Gundersen of the American Legion Riders. "It's when we remember the men and women who fought for our freedom, and allow us to enjoy those picnics and BBQs.
Since its opening, over 2,000 veterans, and family members of veterans, have been placed to rest at the cemetery.
