Crews continue Donner Lake cleanup

A tanker spilled 3,000 gallons of diesel fuel when it overturned more than two weeks ago.
Spokesman Hector Orozco told News 4 that the Department Of Fish And Game hopes to have all the contaminated soil cleaned up by the end of the week.
Weather has delayed the clean up effort, he said. So far, tests of the Alpine lake's water have not detected diesel.
The fast lane of eastbound I-80 will remain closed throughout the day until the center median is completely cleaned.
