RENO, Nev. (AP) -- The Washoe County Health District scheduled three clinics to give out 4,000 doses of swine flu vaccine, and the line of people waiting for a time certain wristband began forming early Friday.

Two clinics are set for Saturday and a third on Tuesday, but wristbands and forms for the second Saturday clinic and the Tuesday clinic were available for pick up Friday beginning at 7 a.m., on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once the distribution began, the line moved quickly and the wait was minimal, according to health district spokeswoman Judy Davis.

The clinics and wristband distribution are taking place at the Washoe County Administrative Complex on 9th Street in Reno.

Those eligible for the vaccine include high-risk groups and health care office workers.

Davis says that at the first clinic 600 doses of vaccine will be given to health care office workers.

The second Saturday clinic will provide 1,600 vaccinations for health care office workers and other high-risk groups.

The Tuesday clinic will offer 1,800 vaccinations to all high-risk groups.

As of 10:30 a.m., approximately 800 wristbands remained for the second Saturday clinic and 700 wristbands remained for the Tuesday clinic, Davis said.

A wide range of time slots were still available for both days, she said.
