California man arrested on drug charge

A California man has been arrested at Stateline and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.
Francisco Reyes-Vizcarra, 31, of Pollock Pines, was charged with transporting 116 grams of methamphetamine from California to Nevada. The drug has an estimated street value of $11,000.
Investigators with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Street Enforcement Team (DCSET) made the arrest after a month-long investigation into drug-trafficking activities between Placerville, California and Stateline, Nevada. Investigators say they spotted Reyes-Vizcarra conducting several drug-related activities during surveillance operations.
Reyes-Vizcarra is being held without bail at the Douglas County Jail at Lake Tahoe, facing a felony charge of drug trafficking. He is being held without bail.
