Police: Armed man attempts robbery of elderly slot host

At about 11 p.m. on November 8, the alleged suspect showed a handgun tucked into his waistband to the woman working inside the Sak-n-Save on 1901 Silverada Boulevard, according to Reno police.
The woman refused to give the man any money, and the suspect ran or walked away from the store, police said.
The assailant is described as a white man with a heavy-set build, about 5-feet-eight-inches tall and 225 pounds. He was last seen with dark hair and a goatee, and was wearing a sweatshirt with the words "New York" written on it. He was also wearing a large ring on his right hand.
