Mexican Feast Supports Manogue Lacrosse Program
WHAT: Manogue Lacrosse will be holding its annual Taco Feed Fundraiser on Feb. 1 from 5 pm to 8 pm. The meal will feature tacos from Antojitos Mexican Restaurant (3374 Kietzke Lane in Reno) and carnitas from JAX in Truckee, along with rice, beans, salad, and a drink.
Cost is just $5 per person, or $20 for a family of five.
All proceeds go to support the boys and girls lacrosse clubs at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School. Fund are used for tournament travel, officiating fees, and field supplies.

WHO: Lacrosse is a club sport at Bishop Manogue, competing in the spring against other local high school clubs under the High Sierra Lacrosse League. The boys head coach is Mike Henry, who took over the club in 2011 and has played lacrosse recreationally and professionally for more than 40 years. In their inaugural year, the girls program is led by Teresa Schwedhelm, who played the game for the UNR women’s club for four years.
Bishop Manogue Catholic High School is a four-year Catholic, co-educational high school in Reno, Nevada. It is the only Catholic high school in Northern Nevada, and was established in 1948.
